2021 has been a year of considerable change for Advanced CCA…
First and foremost, we share the sad news that our founding father, Mark Webb has retired from the company. Mark, however, plans to return to work as a Consultant across the Handl Group in 2022. His selfless dedication to ACCA for over 25 years will continue to be his legacy and he is already greatly missed. We look forward to working with him again in the future.
It has been a year of challenge, not least those presented by Covid-19. We are proud that each and every one of our practitioners has risen to that challenge. Working practices have needed to be adapted and restrictions have proved difficult but despite all of this, it has been our busiest year so far with close to 2000 instructions.
Advanced CCA Continues to Grow
Our company has expanded with additions to the Management Team. Debbie Pedder, who has worked with Mark for over 17 years, was appointed as Panel Manager in March and Adam Bishop-Cornet, previously a client of the company and a long service Children’s Panel Solicitor, took the position as Business Development Manager in June.
The administration team, headed by our Practice Manager, Marcia Hibbert, saw the very welcome introduction of a Senior Administrator, Matt Arrowsmith and an Administrator, Amelia Bowles.
There has been an increase in numbers of panel members with approximately 110 Independent Social Workers currently working through ACCA. The introduction of the 24/7 In the Home Programme has led to a significant increase in the numbers of Parenting Practitioners and the role has received a greater recognition, which has allowed us to develop its scope for our clients.
Our Services
The 24/7 In the Home Assessment is achieving enormous success in keeping families together and the option of a Community Based Assessment, offers the opportunity for parents to demonstrate their capacity beyond the limits of current contact arrangements. A number of these have led to recommendations for rehabilitation and it appears that this intensive support, role modelling and teaching is making the difference that we hoped it would.
The continued efforts of our Marketing and Advertising teams, alongside the contribution of our Business Development Manager, has brought ACCA to the attention of a much wider audience and enables the company to continue to grow and develop as we move towards 2022.
Advancing Into 2022
As the company goes from strength to strength, we look forward to 2022 with new and exciting goals and opportunities. We aspire to strengthen our panel, not just in terms of numbers, but also by developing new and existing training for our members. The introduction of new roles, which will provide further scaffolding to the infrastructure of the company, will mean that we are prepared for further growth in the future.
We aspire to strengthen our connections with our client group and work closer with them in order to provide the best service that we can. We continue to strengthen our market presence by identifying areas for development, improvement and implementing change wherever it is needed.
We have a strong vision for the company moving forward and are excited that our future is looking brighter than ever. Our passion will never waver and we are driven to achieve better outcomes for the children and families at the heart of our business.
