As a long-established provider of high-quality, Independent Social Work assessments and services, we have built a nationwide network of Independent Social Workers, Parenting Practitioners / Family Support Workers and Psychologists who work closely with each other to facilitate report requirements and grow professionally.

Offering independent, high quality social work assessments and services throughout the whole of the UK, we welcome applications from experienced and qualified social workers to join our growing team. 

We offer attractive payment terms, as well as ongoing support and consultation from highly experienced Independent Social Workers who continue to remain in practice. We offer training and development opportunities to further enhance your skills as well as weekly legal and social work updates to keep you up to date with any developments.

Recruitment Criteria

To be part of our ISW team, you must:

  • Be a qualified social worker with a minimum of 8 years’ experience
  • Be registered with Social Work England
  • Have a full enhanced DBS
  • Not to have been adversely named in a Court Judgment

To be part of our Parenting Practitioner team, you must: 

  • Possess an NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent 
  • Have experience/ direct work with families and children 
  • Have recent work history in a relevant role 

In addition, all applicants who wish to join our panel of associates must:

  • Have strong analytical skills and experience in childcare and child protection
  • Be confident within the court arena with good court skills
  • Be able to work independently, to tight deadlines and commit to the role on a long-term basis
  • Work in a courteous and positive manner with professionals and service users
  • Have excellent communication grammar and court reporting skills
  • Be solution focused with a “can do” attitude
